In a time when online scams are spreading faster than ever, educating the public has become more urgent than before. According to 2024 data from Marketeer, Thai citizens fell victim to online fraud over 168 million times, a staggering 112% increase from 2023, which recorded 79.2 million incidents — the highest in five years.
In response to this alarming data, GSB launched the campaign #จับไต๋ภัยมิจ (#SpotTheScam) to help protect Thai citizens.EGG Digital is honored to be the lead MarTech Solution Partner — driving strategy and execution on TikTok to ensure the message reaches and resonates with a wide audience.
This campaign was strategically designed to reach a wide demographic (ages 18–65) by tailoring content to resonate with every generation — from Baby Boomers to Gen X, Y, and Z.
EGG Digital partnered with influential creators to produce engaging, easy-to-understand anti-scam content that aligns with the media habits of each audience group.
We analyzed deep behavioral insights across generations — including the types of scams they face, their preferred platforms, and content styles they respond to. Leveraging AI tools via TikTok Creative Exchange (TTCX), we identified scam typologies, at-risk segments, top-used channels, and trending content formats for each generation. These insights informed customized content strategies that enhanced production effectiveness and campaign performance.
EGG Digital oversaw end-to-end planning and creative direction, producing 20 high-quality short-form Edutainment videos for the TikTok channel GSB Society — quickly, effectively, and ready for impactful delivery.
To maximize reach, we utilized TikTok’s Video Views media solution, and to measure performance, we applied Brand Lift Study (BLS). This allowed GSB to track awareness, recall, and sentiment — and to fine-tune strategies based on real audience response.
Together, GSB and EGG Digital hope this campaign becomes a powerful force in raising financial scam awareness and helping Thai people stay alert, informed, and safe from all forms of fraud.
